Dave Mashburn’s maternal family name is INMAN with a heritage dating back to 1527 England and William Inman whose name was drawn from the job he kept. They were innkeepers who offered lodging, food and drink for travelers.
The Inmans were centered in their ancestral home at Pately Bridge, Yorkshire, England and members of the landed gentry who were descended from John Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster, descendants of King Edward III of England.
Today Innman Hospitality carries on a rich heritage of hospitality to our properties and guests.

Dave and his wife Jana have a passion for small historic hotels and inns.
In 2003, Dave and his wife bought the historic St George Hotel in Weston, MO and completed a major renovation to the property bringing it back to life and managed it for several years. Mr. Mashburn has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from University of Central Missouri.

In his prior role as hotel manager, Mormino spearheaded The Elms participation in Expedia's VIP program. Under his direction, the hotel twice has been honored by Expedia for top ratings in the region and consistently good customer reviews.
Mormino also served on a hospitality task force, helping train staff and share best practices at The Elms' sister properties nationwide. Mormino is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City and is a lifelong resident of Excelsior Springs and an active member of the local Rotary club.
